Increasing the loads affecting the structure with a certain coefficient and decreasing the capacity of the building elements with certain coefficients are specified by the regulations. Different loads (vertical, fixed, mobile, snow, wind, earthquake, etc.) are multiplied by the load increase coefficient in case the load estimation is incomplete. The capacity determined depending on the cross-section and material properties, on the other hand, includes deviations in material properties, production errors, etc. Design strengths are obtained by using reduction coefficients determined considering the effects.
