Stories
...
Export Process
All floors stories are transferred by obeying the level elevation information and names.
If there is a slab or beam on the top floorstory, an empty floor story is added at the top to associate with these elements.
This blank floor story is for the IFC file, not reflected on the ideCAD side.
Import Process
All floors stories are admitted with the same name and level elevatiın information.
If there is an empty floor story at the top, this floor story is deleted.
Since the height information is not in IFC standard, the difference between floors stories is calculated and determined by ideCAD. Height information for the top floor story (not empty) is set as 3.3m by default.
Concrete Columns
...
Export Process
Reinforced concrete Concrete columns are associated with the floor story on which they are located.
The position is assigned relative to the floorstory.
The final coordinates are always guaranteed to be the same on both sides.
All reinforced concrete columns are marked as load bearing elements.
Import Process
Whichever floor story is connected while being imported, it is also connected to that floor story on ideCAD side.
Regardless of how its location in space is defined in the IFC file, the floor story is relatively redefined by ideCAD.
The final coordinates are always guaranteed to be the same on both sides.
All reinforced concrete columns are produced as load bearing columns on ideCAD, regardless of their definition in the IFC file.
If the structural material information matches with ideCAD as text, it is assigned directly, if not, the default reinforced concrete structural material is assigned.
It is tried to be understood from the text information of the material defined in IFC that the beam column is a reinforced concrete element.
Concrete Beams
...
Export Process
Reinforced concrete Concrete beams are associated with the upper floor story of the floor story on which they are located.
If there is no such floorstory, an empty floor story is added to the top of the IFC file, it will not be reflected on the ideCAD side.
Its position is positioned relative to the floor story of the floor story to which it is assigned.
The final coordinates are always guaranteed to be the same on both sides.
All reinforced concrete beams are marked as load bearing elements.
Import Process
Whichever floor story is connected in the IFC file while being imported, it is assigned a lower floor story of that floor story by ideCAD.
Regardless of how its position in space is defined in the IFC file, the floor story is relatively redefined by ideCAD.
The beam position is re-determined according to the ceiling of the relevant floorstory.
The final coordinates are always guaranteed to be the same on both sides.
If there is an empty floor story at the top, this floor story is automatically deleted.
All reinforced concrete beams are produced as load bearing beams on ideCAD, regardless of their definition in the IFC file.
If the structural material information matches with ideCAD as text, it is assigned directly, if not, the default reinforced concrete structural material is assigned.
It is tried to be understood from the text information of the material defined in IFC that the beam is a reinforced concrete element, if the expression is broken, it is accepted as a reinforced concrete element unless otherwise stated.
Concrete Slabs
...
Export Process
Reinforced concrete Concrete slab is associated with the upper floor story of the floor story on which they are located.
If there is no such floorstory, an empty floor story is added to the top of the IFC file, it will not be reflected on the ideCAD side.
Its position is positioned relative to the floor story of the floor story to which it is assigned.
The final coordinates are always guaranteed to be the same on both sides.
All reinforced concrete floors slabs are marked as Load Bearing.
Import Process

The final coordinates are always guaranteed to be the same on both sides.
If there is an empty floor story at the top, this floor story is automatically deleted.
Regardless of the definition in the IFC file, all reinforced concrete floors slabs are produced as load-bearing flooring slab on the ideCAD side.
If the structural material information matches with ideCAD as text, it is assigned directly, if not, the default reinforced concrete structural material is assigned.
