Usage Steps

  • Click the right mouse button on the Materials row in the Structure Tree.

  • Click the Add new material line from the menu that opens.

  • Select one of the definitions of Concrete, Steel New Material command.

  • The structural material properties dialog will open.

  • Select Concrete , Steel, or Other from the material type list .

  • Depending on your choice, the selected material values ​​will appear in According to your selection, values ​​specific to your selection will be listed in the dialog.

  • You can change the values ​​if necessary. However, in normal cases, the program will automatically display the appropriate values ​​according to the selected material type.

  • Click the OK button to exit the dialog.

Identification of Concrete Material

  • Select Concrete as the material type .

  • Select the concrete class from the list in the characteristic concrete compressive strength line.

  • If a different strength from the list is to be used, you can write the strength value yourself as MPa. (28 MPa is written in the sample screenshot.)

  • Select the reinforcement class for bending reinforcement from the list in the bending reinforcement yield strength line.

Identification of Steel Material

  • Select Steel as the material type .

  • Select the steel grade from the list in the steel yield strength (Fy) line.
