You can change the The layer of your existing objects is changed with the the "Change Entity Layer" command command.
To change the object layer;
Select the object whose layer you want to change.
Menu Modify/Layers/Change Entity Layers, click the icon.
The Change Entity Layers dialog will open. From here, select the new layer of your object and click the OK button.
The layer of your object will change.
