The required strength is designed to analyze Load Factors and Combinations per ACI 318-19 with ideCAD. It’s important to determine the required strength of diaphragms to control the effects of out-of-plane loads simultaneously with other applicable loads.
Diaphram modeling and analysis
The analysis is done automatically according to the finite element method. Rigid and semi-rigid diaphragm conditions should be chosen by the user according to ASCE 7/16.
