You can do scaling of 11 sets of acceleration records (22 in total) selected for three-dimensional analysis for earthquake calculation with linear analysis in time domain or mode collection method in time domain with the Ground Motion Scaling in Time Domain command , with the simple scaling method explained in TDY 2.5.2. principles

  • The selection of earthquake acceleration record sets and their definition to the program are under user control. The conversion of the acceleration records entered into the program to the spectrum curve is done automatically.

  • The least squares technique approach is used to match the design spectrum to the resultant spectrum curve by taking the square root of the sum of the squares of the spectrum curves of the acceleration record sets (SSRS), and the scale coefficient is determined automatically.

  • The scaling coefficient of the spectrum curves, which are automatically scaled with the least squares technique approach, can be changed depending on the user control.

  • The ratio of the average amplitudes of the acceleration register sets between the 0.2Tp and 1.5Tp periods to the amplitudes of the design spectrum in the same period range is less than 1.3.

  • The spectra, scale coefficients, average of the resultant spectra and comparisons of the acceleration records after scaling are made with an interface as shown in the picture below.

  • The selection of earthquake acceleration record sets and their definition to the program are under user control.
