The unit to be used during data entry in the program ideCAD is determined by clicking Settings/Preferences in the classic menu , Settings/Project Settings/Preferences icon in the ribbon menu, and in the "Input Units" tab in the Preferences dialog Input Units settings. The unit chosen in this dialogue is effective in all dialogs, coordinates and dimensions.
The Settings/Preferences line/icon is clicked.
