You can use Analysis+Design with appropriate design parameters by opening the Analyze and Design.ide10 project file, which has the structural system and load model properly arranged.

After the architectural projects prepared with ideCAD Architecture are examined with ideCAD Structural, analysis and design is done and the analysis and design results are examined.

  • Click the 2018 TDY Wizard for Analysis Settings command.

  • Specify the project information in order from the Parameters Input Screen for TDY 2018 window that opens.

  • From the Analysis Settings window, select Seismic Forces Calculation Method as the Mode Combination Method Using Response Spectrum.

  • 4.8.5 Basement Calculation Method Using Modal Analysis section, select Separate Analysis for basements.

  • Select Use Semi Rigid Diaphragms from the Slab Diaphragms Modelling Method section.

  • Close the window by clicking the OK command.

  • Click Analysis Design tab in the ribbon menu.

  • Open the Concrete list from the Design Parameters section.

  • Click the General Concrete Reinforcement Parameters command from the Concrete list .

  • General Concrete Reinforcement Settings window will open.

  • In the General Concrete Reinforcement Settings window, minimum reinforcement interval, minimum general rebar joining length, rod length, etc. set the parameters and click OK to close the window.

  • Click the Column Parameters command from the Concrete list.

  • From the Column Parameters window that opens , you can set the concrete cover, minimum and maximum pursantage, minimum and maximum stirrup interval etc. Specify the column parameters and click OK to close the window.

  • Click the Beam Parameters command from the Concrete list.

  • From the Beam Parameters window that opens, concrete cover, minimum span tensile percentage, minimum and maximum stirrup interval, rebar extensions etc. Specify the beam parameters and click OK to close the window.

  • Click the Slab Parameters command from the Concrete list.

  • From the Slab Parameters window that opens , you can set the concrete cover, the minimum percentage, the minimum and maximum reinforcement intervals etc. set the slab parameters and click OK to close the window.

  • Similarly, the parameters of concrete elements such as foundations, shearwalls, stairs, piles, retaining walls can be adjusted from the Concrete list in the Design Parameters section .

  • Click Analysis and Design tab in the ribbon menu .

  • Click the Steel command in the Design Parameters section.

  • The Steel Design Options window will open.

  • Select ÇYTHYEDY (YDKT) as Regulation from the Steel Design Options window and click the OK command to close the window.

  • AISC 360-16 and TS EN 1993-1-1 (Eurocode) regulations can also be selected from the Steel Design Options window.

  • Click the Steel Bar Selection command from the ribbon menu.

  • From the Steel Bar Selection window that opens , click the Column heading.

  • Longitudinal and transverse rebar diameters to be used in concrete column design will be seen. Optionally, the rebar diameters to be used in the concrete element can be changed.

  • The rebardiameter to be used in the design of all concrete elements such as beams, slabs, foundations and shearwalls can be determined from the Rebar Selection window .

  • Click the Analysis+Design (F9) command.

  • Do you want to perform analysis? question will be asked. Click the Yes command.and.

  • Wait for the analysis to complete in the ideCAD Structural Analysis Status window.

  • When the analysis is complete, click OK to close the window.

  • Concrete Design Combinations and Steel Design Combinations will be defined automatically after the analysis is completed .

  • Open the Structure Tree window.

  • Open the Load Combinations list under the Analysis heading .

  • Under the Load Combinations list, open the Concrete Design Combinations list.

  • The load combinations used for the design of concrete elements will be listed.

  • Under the Load Combinations list, open the Steel Design Combinations list.

  • According to ÇYTHYEDY (YDKT) regulation, the load combinations used for the design of steel elements will be listed.

  • Steel Design Combinations will be created automatically for any regulation selected from the Steel Design Options window .
