Design with Load and Strength Coefficients is based on the principle that the design strength value for all structural elements is equal to or greater than the required strength calculated with the loads and loading combinations mentioned in the regulation. YDKT uses different load increase factors for each load type and different strength reduction factors for strength. It provides a uniform security.

Structural Security

As a method, IACT gives more realistic results due to the sensitivity in both load estimation and determination of safety coefficients and is more economical due to plastic design rules.
