TBDY Section 5.9 FINALIZING THE DESIGN ACCORDING TO THE MODIFICATION

As stated in 5.1.3.2 , the dimensions and reinforcements of the vertical bearing elements (wall and column) and foundations determined in the preliminary design made with the Design Based on Strength approach given in Section 4 will not be reduced as a result of the nonlinear calculation made according to this Chapter. If reduction is desired, sections will be changed and both designs will be repeated. For other carrier elements (beam, tie beam, etc.), reduction can be made if deemed necessary. However, in this case, the nonlinear calculation made according to this Section will be repeated.
