You can adjust the steel purlin settings from the Hall settings dialog Settings tab. Purlin settings can be made separately for the right, left, upper, front and rear parts of the hall in the Settings tab.
Steel Purlin Settings Location
Select the hall where you want to change the steel purlin settings and click the right mouse button. Click the Properties line from the right click menu that opens.
General Settings Tab
In the General Settings tab, color, material and plan label adjustments of the element are made on the plan and perspective screen.
Section Tab
In the section tab, the cross section to be used in the purlin group is determined. If honeycomb sections are selected, the number of combs filled from the beginning and end in the menu becomes active . It is modeled automatically by filling the spaces in the numbers entered in the boxes.
Placement Tab
In the Placement tab, the information of purlins to be modeled can be given on an interval or number basis. The positions of the elements to be defined are given by entering their offset distances.
1 | Settlement type | With number-based or range-based data, purlins are modeled between defined elements. In cases where the equal distance cannot be achieved , the additional purlin is placed on the last piece while the command "add element to last interval" is active. |
2 | Start and End Changes | In order to prevent conflict with the elements it is defined, the first and last element in purlin placement is removed with the "tick" mark placed in the remove boxes . |
3 | Offsets | It adjusts the position of purlins relative to the elements they are defined and its offset in order to avoid collision with the joins. |
Extensions Tab
In the Extensions tab, there are options to create cantilevers with the settings of purlins to the main beams and which combination will be modeled automatically.
1 | Above the hood | It ensures that the elements for which purlins are defined are modeled to fit on the upper head. |
2 | Under the hood at the top | It ensures that the elements defined by the top cap of the purlins are modeled in line with the top cap. |
3 | Full middle | It allows the midpoint of purlins to be modeled with the middle of the elements defined in the same line. |
4 | Vertical offset | The distance entered in the box allows the purl to be modeled under the upper heading of the defined elements. |
5 | Connection type | Select from the drop-down list for automatically created combinations between the elements it is defined and purlins. |
6 | Extensions | Console size must be entered in the box to create a console. |
7 | Internal distance | If the top head option is used, the distance between the two purlin ends should be entered at the point where the purlins touch the elements defined. |
