The Convert to Rib command is developed to transform the created floors into ribbed ( unidirectional toothed flooring). In order to convert it into ribs, the floors to be transformed into ribs must be created.
To create ribbed flooring:
Click the Convert To Ribs icon in the ribbon menu .
The flooring toolbar will open.
When you click on the convert to rib icon, objects other than slab will be dimmed.
Select the tile you want to be made into the rib. You can selectively transform multiple tiles at the same time. When your tile selections are finished, click the right mouse button.
For reference to the direction of your rib beams, when you move your mouse over a desired beam, that beam will appear in red.
When you click on the beam, your ribs will be formed. Exit the command by pressing the esc key on the keyboard.
If you want, you can determine the straightness of your rib beams by clicking two points. Click the first starting point.
When you click on the second point, its direction will be determined and your ribs will be formed. Quit the command by pressing the esc key on the keyboard.
