The following conditions are automatically controlled for column flange to beam flange connection in accordance with 9B.4.6.
The beam flange will be connected to the column flange with complete joint penetration groove weld.
Weld access holes will have the geometry and application conditions given in Figure 9B.6.
The dimensioning of the connection is automatically computed using Eq. 9B.1 with Cpr = 1 as required by -9B.4.3.
