ideCAD select the earthquake ground motion level that you will determine from Chapter 11.2 MCER, and use to define horizontal and vertical elastic design spectrum automaticaly. It uses two-third of the MCER.
According to ASCE 7-16, design response spectrum determined by multiplying the risk-targeted maximum considered earthquake (MCER) response spectrum by (2/3).
