Scale commands allow you to change the size of the shapes of 2D objects (line, circle, arc). There are 2 different commands for scaling in the program; scale and scale by reference.
Location of the Scale/Scale by Reference Commands
You can access the Scale/Scale by Reference commands under the Modify heading in the ribbon menu Drawings tab .
Scale Usage Steps
You can increase and decrease your objects by giving a base point with the Scale command.
Click the Scale icon in the ribbon menu .
Select the entities you want to scale.
Complete the selection step by clicking the right mouse button. The shape of the cursor will change.
After giving the base point, the objects you selected will enlarge and shrink with the movement of your mouse.
When it reaches the dimensions you want, click the left button of your mouse.

Scale by Reference Usage Steps
Functions the same as the scale command. The different side is that you can decide numerically the magnification or reduction ratio of the objects.
Click the Scale by Reference icon in the ribbon menu .
Select the entities you want to scale.
Complete the selection step by clicking the right mouse button. The shape of the cursor will change.
Click with the left mouse button to give the base point.
In the dialog that comes up, enter the current scale (for example 1) and click the OK button.
The same dialogue will come across you again. Enter the new scale (eg 2). The selected objects will be scaled. According to the example we have given, the length of a line with a length of 1 meter in the drawing area will increase to 2 meters.
