It enables the drawing in any drawing window to be saved to memory or archive in order to place it on the layout. After the layout block is created, the block is placed on the layout where the block will be placed with the Insert Layout Block command. The layout block is created with five different commands.


New Layout Block-All Drawing

It blocks all the drawings in the drawing window with a single click and saves them to memory or archive.

  • Click Drawings/Layout Design/Create New Layout/New Layout Block-All Drawing icon in the ribbon menu .

  • Click any point in the drawing area. The point you clicked will be the insertion point of the block.

  • The Layout Block Settings dialog will open. In this dialog, give a block name and set the scale.

  • If you leave the Save to library line checked, the block will be saved in the library.

  • Click the OK button.

New Layout Block-Rectangle

In the working drawing window, it cuts the objects inside a drawn rectangular frame and saves them to memory or archive.

  • Click Drawings/Layout Design/Create New Layout/New Layout Block-Rectangle icon in the ribbon menu .

  • Rectangle the area you want to block in the drawing area.

  • Click any point in the drawing area. The point you clicked will be the insertion point of the block.

  • The Layout Block Settings dialog will open. In this dialog, give a block name and set the scale.

  • If you want to indicate the perimeter of the block with a line, check the Draw border line.

  • If you leave the Save to library line checked, the block will be saved in the archive.

  • Click the OK button.

New Layout Block-Polygon

In the working drawing window, it cuts the objects within a drawn polygon (the area determined by more than 4 corners) and saves them to memory or archive.

  • Click Drawings/Layout Design/Create New Layout/New Layout Block-Polygon icon in the ribbon menu.

  • Move the mouse by clicking one of the corner of the area you want to block in the drawing area. Click the other points respectively. When you click the first point, the polygon will be complete.

  • Click any point in the drawing area. The point you clicked will be the insertion point of the block.

  • The Layout Block Settings dialog will open. In this dialog, give a block name and set the scale.

  • If you want to indicate the perimeter of the block with a line, check the Draw border line.

  • If you leave the Save to library line checked, the block will be saved in the archive.

  • Click the OK button.

New Sheet Block-Path Polygon

In the working drawing window, the objects within a drawn polygon path (the area determined by more than 4 corners) are cut and saved to memory or archive.

  • Click on Drawings/Layout Design/Create New Layout/New Layout Block-Polygon Path icon in the ribbon menu .

  • Move the mouse by clicking one of the corner of the area you want to block in the drawing area. Click the other points respectively. When you click the first point, the polygon will be complete.

  • Click any point in the drawing area. The point you clicked will be the insertion point of the block.

  • The Layout Block Settings dialog will open. In this dialog, give a block name and set the scale.

  • If you want to indicate the perimeter of the block with a line, check the Draw border line.

  • If you leave the Save to library line checked, the block will be saved in the archive.

  • Click the OK button.

New Sheet Block-Circle

In the working drawing window, it cuts the objects that are inside a drawn circle and saves them to memory or archive.

  • Click Drawings/Layout Design/Create New Layout/New Layout Block-Circle icon in the ribbon menu .

  • Click in the drawing area. The point you click is the center of the circle.

  • Move the mouse. Determine the diameter of the circle and click again.

  • Click any point in the drawing area. The point you clicked will be the insertion point of the block.

  • The Layout Block Settings dialog will open. In this dialog, give a block name and set the scale.

  • If you want to indicate the perimeter of the block with a line, check the Draw border line.

  • If you leave the Save to library line checked, the block will be saved in the archive.

  • Click the OK button.
