As a result of the slab analysis, the way the slab works and what type of reinforcement will be used are automatically determined. With the Edit Concrete Calculation Line command, you can change the working style of the slab and the type of reinforcement.
Location of Edit Concrete Calculation Line Command
You can reach it under the Concrete tab in the ribbon menu under the Concrete heading.
Usage Steps
Click the Edit Concrete Calculation Line icon.
Select a calculation line from the defined slab.
The Slab Concrete Reinforcement Axis Parameters dialog will open.
In this dialog, working and reinforcement type of the selected concrete calculation lines are selected.
Make the changes you want and click the OK button to close the dialog.
According to the changes you make, your concrete calculation line will change.
Slab Concrete Reinforcement Axis Parameters Dialogue
Axis Type Tab
Options |
---|
Straight + bent-up reinforcement When selected, it indicates that the processed reinforcement axis will be designed as a reinforcement type consisting of flat and pillars. The reinforcement will be laid flat and in the form of a pile. |
Under straight reinforcement When selected, it indicates that the axis of the processed reinforcement will be straight reinforcement at the bottom. The reinforcement will be laid in the form of flat reinforcement at the bottom. |
Special cantilever reinforcement It is the type of reinforcement to be used for cantilever slabs. Indicates that the processed reinforcement axis will be designed as cantilever reinforcement. |
Upper straight reinforcement When selected, it indicates that the axis of the processed reinforcement will be straight reinforcement on top. The reinforcement will be laid as one straight reinforcement at the top. |
Upper+under straight reinforcement When selected, it indicates that the processed reinforcement axis will be designed as straight reinforcement type at the bottom and top. The reinforcement will be laid as straight reinforcement at the bottom and at the top. |
Left valid distance It determines how many meters distance the reinforcement will be placed on the left of the calculation lines used. Changing the value written here affects the number of slab reinforcements. For example, the valid distance is 345 cm and the slab reinforcement is fi8/36. The number of reinforcement is 345 cm/36=9.58; means that 10 pieces of 8' reinforcement will be used on the left. |
Right valid distance It determines the distance of the reinforcement to be placed on the right of the calculation lines used. Changing the value written here affects the number of slab reinforcements. For example, the valid distance is 345 cm and the slab reinforcement is fi8/36. The number of reinforcement is 345 cm/36=9.58; means that 10 pieces of 8' reinforcement will be used on the left. |
2 way short The plate is a double-sided plate and the concrete calculation line is in the short side direction of the plate. (Llong/Lsh<2) The plate is put on the default flat and pleated. In short spans, if desired, it can be laid only as flat reinforcement or as flat on top and bottom. |
1 way short The plate is a single-direction plate and the concrete calculation line is in the short side direction of the plate. (Llong/Lshort≥2 or balcony, landing floor) Plaque working in one direction is laid flat and piled for laying. In short spans, only plain reinforcement can be thrown if desired. Console reinforcement (additional) is discarded in console plates. The reinforcement is extended to the empty end. |
2 way long The plate is a double-sided plate and the concrete calculation line is located on the long side of the plate. (Llong/Lsh<2) Plaque is laid flat and pleated. In short spans, if desired, it can be laid only as flat reinforcement or as flat on top and bottom. |
1 way long The plate is a single-direction plate and the concrete calculation line is located on the long side of the plate. (Llong/Lshort≥2 or balcony, landing floor) Flat reinforcement (distribution reinforcement) is laid in slab floors and consoles operating in one direction. |
Override clear length for thickness control When the option is selected and the value is entered, the calculation gap is made according to the entered value in the slab thickness control. |
Straight Reinforcement Parameters Tab
It becomes active if "Upper+under straight reinforcement" is selected as the reinforcement type in the axis type tab . The parameters in this tab change the design conditions of the flat bars to be placed at the top and bottom.
Options |
---|
Calculate required reinforcement If the option is checked, the reinforcement value found as a result of the calculation is used. (The amount of reinforcement found from the design moment is compared with the minimum reinforcement ratios, whichever is greater is used). |
Use same as bottom reinforcement The moment is at the bottom in the opening in the slab. When this option is checked, it means that the same bottom reinforcement will be used on the top for slab. |
Use given reinforcement If checked, the reinforcement entered in this line is used instead of the reinforcement found as a result of the calculation. The program assigns partial reinforcement in addition to the regions where the entered reinforcement is not sufficient (the moment peaks). Reinforcement that meets at least the minimum requirements should be used. (The supplied reinforcement must meet the minimum reinforcement requirement). |
Bend steel If checked, the straight bar is bent into the beam at the beginning and end. If not marked, the reinforcement is left unbend. |
Calculate required reinforcement for whole area If marked, the reinforcement calculation is made to meet the maximum moment in the region within the distance where the reinforcement axis is valid. If it is not marked, only the concrete calculation is made to meet the moment on the reinforcement axis. |
