The Complete Message:

For A22 structural system type, Building Height Class (BYS)> = 4 condition is not met in (X / Y) direction.

In TBDY 2018 Table 4.1, Building Height Class (BYS)> = 4 limit is set for A22 structural system. The program gives a warning because the building carrier system A22 is selected and the BYS> = 4 condition is not met.

Solution:

  • If Building (BYS) = 3 , it can be used for carrier system types A11, A12, A13, A14, A15 . The selection of the carrier system type can be changed with the Analysis Settings / TBDY 2018 Earthquake Code wizard by changing the appropriate carrier system, ductility level.

  • If Building (BYS) = 2 , it can be used for carrier system types A12, A13, A14, A15 . The choice of carrier system type can be changed with the Analysis Settings / TBDY 2018 Earthquake Code wizard by going to the appropriate carrier system changes.

  • If the building BYS = 1 , the buildings specified in the article 3.3.2.2 of TBDY 2018 will be classified as high-rise buildings according to Section 13, according to the condition , the building should be designed according to the principles given in Section 13 of TBDY.
