With the R Purlin command, r purlins of steel design are created.

Location of R Purlin Command

You can access it under the ribbon menu Steel tab, Steel heading.

Usage Steps

  • Click the R Purlin icon from the ribbon menu .

  • Steel purlin toolbar will open.

  • Select a profile from the list by clicking on the profile list in the steel purlin toolbar.

  • Choose the first of the steel beams or truss overhead heads that the R purlins will form between

  • When you select your second steel beam or truss head, the R purlin settings dialog will open.

  • In the dialog, there are parameters such as the height of the R purlin module, the number of purlins, the layout, etc. After making the settings, click the OK button.

  • R purlins will be formed.
