Adding Console and Groove Distance to the Truss

With the truss groove and console settings, a truss or console is added to the truss. Distances are determined according to the steel project design.

Location of Console and Groove Distance Settings

You can access the Truss Settings dialog by clicking the Settings icon from the Trusses toolbar that opens when the Truss command is clicked. Truss pattern type and count settings are available on the Accessories tab.

Usage Steps

  • Click the Truss icon in the ribbon menu .

  • The trusses toolbar will open. Here Settings , click the icon.

  • The Truss Settings dialog will be displayed. Here Accessories, click the tab.

  • Determine the distances by choosing console or groove distance.

  • You can not add console or groove distance by checking the No accessory option.

  • When you close the dialog by clicking the OK button, your truss will be formed according to your choices.

Console is added by giving different values ​​to the upper left and lower headings of the scissors from the left console add section. By checking the Balance option, the value given to the subtitle is also applied to the header.

The left cover option is marked and a cover is added to the end of the console.

The right cover option is marked and a cover is added to the end of the console.

At the top nozzle, at the left end, is the distance value for the groove. The upper left end is taken in for the given value.

It is the distance value for the groove at the top head, right end. The upper right end is taken in for the given value.

Console and/or groove distances are canceled.
