With the Trim command, you can delete the remaining parts of any 2-dimensional object (this can be a circle, intersecting lines, arc) that you have selected in the drawing area, starting from the reference boundary you specify. The object to be deleted can be inside or outside your reference boundary, but it must also intersect with it.

Location of the Trim Command

You can access the trim command under the ribbon menu Drawings tab , under the Modify heading.

Usage Steps

  • Click the Trim icon in the ribbon menu .

  • Select the line that will be your reference border and click the right mouse button.

  • Identify the side of your other line to be cut.

  • Your line will be trimmed.
