a. The dongle is not plugged into the USB port.
When you get the license of the program, the program is delivered to you with a USB dongle.
The dongle must be plugged into one of the USB ports before the program runs.
If the dongle is not installed, insert the lock and wait for the light of the lock to turn on.
The lock light should be on (example shown in screenshot). When the light turns on, run the program again.
If the lock is not lit, test your lock on other ports on the computer to see if the USB port where the lock is attached is defective.
The dongle is only granted to users who purchased a usage license. If you want to use the program for trial purposes, you can install the demo version of the program that does not require a hardware lock.
You can download our free demo programs from our website below.

b. It may be that the dongle driver installation process is still in the background.
If the dongle is installed but the lock is not lit, the dongle drivers may still be installed.
Wait for the lock drivers installation process to complete.
You can also remove the lock and plug it into another usb port.
The lock light will turn on when the installation process is complete.
c. Dongle is installed but the lock still does not light
Another USB device may be conflicting with the dongle.
Remove other devices.
Try running the program again.
d. Your ports are working and still the same error pops up
If your ports are working and you still get the same error, the lock driver may be out of date or disabled.
Download the zip file from the link below and unzip it to the folder.

Run the HASPUserSetup file inside the folder.
Some virus programs prevent such programs from being installed. In order to avoid such a problem, it is recommended to disable the virus program before starting the lock driver installation.
e. The firmware has been installed successfully but the lock is still not lit.
The lock may be broken. Report the problem to the ideYAPI Technical Support service. You can replace the broken lock with a new one.
