Educational License Activation
To use ideCAD for free for educational purposes, you need to activate the educational license.
Open the ideYAPI OneClick application.
If you do not have ideYAPI OneClick yet, click here to download and install.
Click the activation tab.
For getting the product key, click the Request Educational Key button.
Quote form for educational license is opened.
Enter the name, surname, email, phone.
It is required that the e-mail address has an edu extension and the name of the person requesting the student version.
Select the country.
Select the product Structural and/or Architectural for educational license.
Mark the I’m not a robot box and click the send button.
After you have entered your information correctly and completely, it may take a certain time for your license to be approved.
Applications that do not have an e-mail address extension and do not match the name will not be considered.
When your license is approved, you will receive an informative e-mail from the system. Please check your email account (including spam box) regularly.
You will receive an email confirming that your student version request has been approved.
Open the ideYAPI OneClick License Manager Application.
Click the Structural option.
Enter the key number for ideCAD Structural in your e-mail into the product key line.
Activate it by clicking the Activate button.
ideCAD Structural Educational license will be activated.
Click the Architectural option.
Enter the key number for ideCAD Architectural in your e-mail into the product key line.
Activate it by clicking the Activate button.
ideCAD Architectural Educational license will be activated.
