Creating a Ribbed Slab
With the Transform to Ribbed Slab command, existing concrete slabs are transformed to ribbed slabs (unidirectional rib slab). In order to transformed it into ribs, the slabs to be transformed into ribs must be created.

In the Architectural Program
You can access under the ribbon menu Concrete tab, Concrete title.
In Structural Program
You can access under ribbon menu, Concrete tab, Concrete title.
Usage Steps
To create ribbed slab:
Create the slab.
Click the Transform to Ribbed Slab icon in the ribbon menu .
The slab toolbar will open.
When you click on the convert to rib icon, objects other than slab will be dimmed.
Select the slab you want to be made into the rib. You can selectively transform multiple slabs at the same time. When your slab selections are finished, click the right mouse button.
For reference to the direction of your rib beams, when you move your mouse over a wanted beam, that beam will appear in red.
When you click on the beam, your ribs will be formed. Exit the command by pressing the esc key on the keyboard.
If you want, you can determine the straightness of your rib beams by clicking two points. Click the first starting point.
When you click on the second point, its direction will be determined and your ribs will be formed. Quit the command by pressing the esc key on the keyboard.
