Steel structure elements are dimensioned based on load combinations given in ÇYTHYE Section 5.3 and earthquake loads combinations given in TBDY 2018 9.2.5.

As specified with detail in the relevant article, the required strengths of the columns, beams, braces and connections of the concentrically braced frame systems with moderate ductility level are obtained determined by multiplying the earthquake effects E_d by the overstrength factor D in the load combinations given in 9.2.5.
