Wind Velocity and Velocity Pressure

The wind velocity and the velocity pressure are composed of a mean and a variable component.

The mean wind velocity v_m is determined from the basic wind velocity v_b which depends on the wind climate, and the height variation of the wind determined from the terrain roughness and orography.
