Creating an Elliptical Arc Center-Corners
Elliptical Arc Center-Corners command is one of the three elliptical arc drawing techniques. An elliptical arc is created by specifying a center, a corner, arc start and end point.
Location of the Elliptical Arc Center-Corners Command
In the Architectural Program
You can access it under the ribbon menu Drawings tab, Primitives title.
In the Structural Program
You can access it under the ribbon menu Drawings tab, Primitives title.
Usage Steps
To draw an elliptical arc using this command:
Click the Elliptical Arc Center-Corners icon in the ribbon menu .
Click any point in the drawing area with the left mouse button. This point will be the center of the arc to be drawn.
Drag the mouse and click with the left mouse button to set a second point. This point will determine the size of the arc to be drawn.
Drag the mouse again. A piece of arc will appear on the screen. Click the left button after you have determined the length of the broadcast.
Drag the mouse in the opposite direction. Another piece of arc will appear in the other direction from the starting point. Click the left button when the spring piece is to the proper length.
An elliptical arc will be drawn.
