Design Essential Internal Forces for the Foundation

Determination of Internal Forces Acting on Foundations (4.10.3) section explains the calculation of the forces transferred to the foundation in accordance with TBDY 2018 in case of a non-interacting superstructure solution.

The superstructure interactive solution was used for this building. Required increases for basement floor elements in structures with basements are also explained in the above-mentioned article.

The stresses occurring at the foundation are controlled from the program screen.
