Get the 2D / 3D Drawings

You can import the DWG/DXF format drawings you received from the architect and use them as a base in the ideCAD Structural program.

• Click the ideCAD logo in the upper left corner of the program.

• Click on the Import/DWG/DXF-2D line from the menu that opens.

• Select the DWG format file you received from the architect and click the Open button.

Open

• The Import Options dialog will open.

• In the dialog, set the necessary parameters and click the OK button.

• The rename layer dialog will open and you will be asked what to do for layers with the same name.

• Select rename new layer option and click OK button.

• Architectural project drawings will be uploaded.
