İnternational Design Codes
ACI 318-19 : Sectional Strength per ACI 318-19 §22
TSC 2018 : TSC Sectional Strength
Codes applies to calculating nominal strength at sections of members, including (a) through (g):
(a) Flexural strength
(b) Axial strength or combined flexural and axial strength
(c) One-way shear strength
(d) Two-way shear strength
(e) Torsional strength
(f) Bearing
(g) Shear friction
Design strength at a section is calculated as the nominal strength multiplied or divided by the valid strength reduction factors.
