Three possible solutions to increase the beam capacity ratio less than 1 are explained below.
Possible Solutions
From the Beam Parameters window , you can activate the "Calculate the required reinforcement using the fiber model with" option.
From the Beam Reinforced Concrete window, reinforcement can be increased or beam dimensions can be enlarged.
Detailed information of the capacity ratios in beams can be seen in the Capacity design tab of the Beam Reinforced Concrete window . Using this section, it can be seen in which section of the beam, under which combination effect, the capacity ratio is exceeded and can be intervened appropriately.
