Three possible solutions to increase the beam capacity ratio less than 1 are explained below.

Possible Solutions

• From the Beam Parameters window , you can activate the "Calculate the required reinforcement using the fiber model with" option.

• From the Beam Reinforced Concrete window, reinforcement can be increased or beam dimensions can be enlarged.

• Detailed information of the capacity ratios in beams can be seen in the Capacity design tab of the Beam Reinforced Concrete window . Using this section, it can be seen in which section of the beam, under which combination effect, the capacity ratio is exceeded and can be intervened appropriately.
