Nonlinear Analysis Case
Under the Non-Linear Analysis heading in the structure tree, Geometric Non-Linear Static Analysis Case can be defined.
In order to perform a Geometric Non-Linear Analysis, it is necessary to define at least one underload condition. Loading status can be defined with the Non-Linear Analysis command. For the nonlinear analysis loading case, the linear analysis loading cases must be defined beforehand. When you analyze on any system, the program will automatically create linear analysis loading states.
Nonlinear analysis and loading states are shown in the build tree under the Analysis folder.
Location of Nonlinear Analysis Case Command
You can access it from the Ribbon menu, Analysis and Design tab , under the Define heading.
Usage Steps
Click the nonlinear analysis case icon.
The Static Nonlinear Analysis dialog will open.
In this dialog, type a description on the Analysis case name line.
Click the Add New Row button.
In the row that opens, in the Load Case column, select an upload and type a value for the factor if needed.
Click the OK button to close the dialog.

Use for concrete design It is the information whether the extreme forces calculated using the relevant loading situation will be taken into account in the concrete design. If checked, it will be taken into account. |
Use for steel design It is the information whether the end forces calculated using the relevant loading situation will be taken into account in the steel design. If checked, it will be taken into account. |
