Static Linear Load Case
When Analysis+Design is done, Linear Static Analysis states are automatically defined by the program. In Loading Cases, Fixed load (G), Live load (Q), Fixed Load (G') taken into account with effective section stiffnesses, Live Load (Q') taken into account with effective section stiffnesses and Vertical earthquake effect (Ez(G)) vertical loads are defined. These loading cases are automatically defined in accordance with TBDY and do not need to be defined separately. If wind and soil loads are defined in the system, the program automatically creates load conditions for those loads.
The definition of earthquake effects can be found in Design Spectrum Analysis under the title of Modal Analysis.
Static linear analysis and load cases are displayed in the structure tree under the Analysis folder.
Apart from these, it is possible to define them in the program when extra load cases are needed.
Location of Static Linear Load Cases Command
You can access it from the Ribbon menu, Analysis and Design tab , under the Define heading.
Usage Steps
Click the static linear load case icon.
The Static Linear Load Case dialog will open.
Create the new installation state by editing the information contained in this dialog.
You can also access the linear static analysis load status dialog by clicking the right mouse button on the load status line in the structure tree analysis section.

Description A description describing the loading status is written. |
Use for concrete design It is the information whether the extreme forces calculated using the relevant loading situation will be taken into account in the concrete design. If checked, it will be taken into account. |
Use for steel design It is the information whether the end forces calculated using the relevant loading situation will be taken into account in the steel design. If checked, it will be taken into account. |
