It represents the situations where there is no slab system or the stiffness of the slab is quite low compared to the stiffness of the system. Horizontal forces are distributed to the vertical members in accordance with the mass distribution.
The slab stiffness represents the situations where it is quite low compared to the system stiffness.
Diaphragm Modeling Selection
In order to model a flexible diaphragm, the option to Does not create a diaphragm is selected from the Slab Settings dialog .
