Coupling Ratio of Coupled Walls (4.5.4.4)
Whether it is suitable for bond degree coefficient and bond-beam wall definitions or not is automatically calculated with Equations 4.14 and 4.15 and warnings are given when necessary.
Symbols
c = The distance between the cross-section gravity centers of the tie beam (hollow) curtain parts
M DEV = The tipping moment caused by earthquake loads at the base of the reinforced concrete wall
M 1 = The bending moment at the base obtained from the earthquake effect in the curtain parts forming the curtain with tie beams
M 2 = The curtain forming the curtain with tie beams bending moment at the base due to the earthquake effect
N v =Equal tensile and compression axial forces at the base of the curtain parts as the sum of the shear forces formed in the tie beams of the tie beam curtain under the earthquake effect over the entire wall height
Ω = The bond degree coefficient in the bond beam wall
The bond degree coefficient Ω, which is taken as basis for defining bond beam (hollow) walls, is given in Equation (4.14) .
The element group to be controlled with gaps is separated from the system, the inverted triangle unit loading is automatically distributed according to the weight of the floors . The bending moments and axial forces determined at the base of the wall as a result of loading are put into the above equation, the bond degree coefficient is automatically calculated and reported on the commitment degree page of the earthquake regulation report . This control is carried out between the first floor and the top floor above the rigid basement floors.
